FAIR TAX PAC.png

The Fair Tax PAC advocates for a simpler, more transparent tax system that eliminates income taxes in favor of a national consumption-based tax. Our core mission is rooted in promoting the Fair Tax Act, originally introduced by Congressman John Linder in 1999. The Act has been championed by political leaders like Congressman Rob Woodall, Senator Saxby Chambliss, and, more recently, Representative Buddy Carter, who reintroduced the Fair Tax Act of 2023. The 2023 version has garnered support from several prominent members of Congress, including House Freedom Caucus members, who see it as a way to overhaul the current tax system, which they view as inefficient and overly burdensome.

The Fair Tax would replace federal income, payroll, and other hidden taxes with a straightforward national sales tax, ensuring taxpayers have full control over their earnings. The policy promotes transparency, simplifies compliance, and incentivizes economic growth, particularly for small and medium-sized businesses. Our goal is to advance the Fair Tax as a tool for fiscal responsibility, driving innovation while upholding America's founding principles. We are committed to building a fairer economy that rewards hard work, protects personal freedom, and secures a prosperous future for all Americans.

In May 2024, the Fair Tax initiative was added to the Georgia ballot and received overwhelming support from voters, with over 65% in favor. This marks a significant step toward replacing the state's income tax with a consumption-based tax model, reflecting strong public desire for tax reform. If implemented, Georgia could become a leading example of how a Fair Tax system can benefit both residents and businesses by simplifying taxation and encouraging economic growth.
